The routes around the Älperseil are among the insider tips at Titlis. The small blue gondola connects Untertrübsee with Gerschnialp and opens up several short, but rewarding freeride runs from Stand or Trübsee.
Especially in fresh snow, poor visibility or strong wind, the wooded slopes around the Älperseil are often an excellent choice. Bushes, terrain breaks and clumps of trees make navigation easier in a whiteout while also ensuring varied skiing.

Route description
The routes start above the Älperseil and lead through open forest clearings and undulating terrain towards Gerschnialp. The terrain is varied and offers many playful lines.
Thanks to the vegetation, navigation often remains much easier even in fog than in high-alpine terrain. After the descent, the Älper rope or the cable car takes you back towards Titlis.

Around the Älperseil there are wildlife protection areas that must be strictly respected. Inspections are carried out regularly. In addition, forest ditches, streams and terrain steps can be concealed when there is a high snow cover.
