Engelberg Guide – Dani Perret
Rooted in Engelberg. Guided by Dani.
I’m an IFMGA mountain guide based in Engelberg. I guide private freeride days, ski tours, climbing and mountaineering trips in the region.
For many years, I’ve guided guests around Titlis, Brunni, the Uri Alps and Central Switzerland. We plan each tour around your experience, what you want to do and the conditions on the day.

Find private guided tours, ideas for your next mountain day and practical local knowledge about freeriding, ski touring and climbing in Engelberg.
Much of this content is based on my work as the author of the Engelberg Outdoor Guide as well as on countless days as a mountain guide around Titlis and Engelberg.
Around Titlis and Brunni, we can choose from open powder slopes, classic off-piste runs and more demanding descents. I pick the route with you according to the snow, weather and your experience.

Private guiding starts from CHF 700 per day. This is the guide fee per day, not a price per person. Any expenses are listed in your personal quote. Courses and camps have their own advertised prices.

Yes. Private tours are tailored to your experience, preferences and the current conditions. There are also courses and camps with scheduled dates and group prices.
Where can I go freeriding in Engelberg?
Engelberg and Titlis offer some of the best freeride terrain in the Alps, including the Laub, Steinberg, Galtiberg, Steintal and Titlis Rundtour. The best route depends on snow conditions, avalanche danger, visibility and the experience of the group.
Are beginners welcome?
Yes. Many ski tours, freeride days and climbing trips can be adapted to individual ability levels.
When does the ski touring season start in Engelberg?
Depending on snow conditions, the season usually begins in late autumn and often lasts until spring. High-alpine tours are sometimes possible well into early summer.
What is the Urner Haute Route?
The Urner Haute Route is a multi-day ski traverse through the Uri Alps, usually finishing in Engelberg. It combines remote mountain huts, high-alpine passes, summit options and long ski descents.
How can I request a tour?
The easiest way is via WhatsApp or the contact form. Together we will find the right tour and the ideal date.
What is the difference between engelberg.guide, engelberg.ch and engelbergmountainguide.ch?
engelberg.guide is my independent mountaineering platform. Here you will find my personal mountain guide services, local tour suggestions, background knowledge and a calendar featuring published courses, tours and events from various mountain guides and organisers. Booking is made directly with the respective provider.
engelberg.ch is the official destination and tourism website for Engelberg-Titlis. It provides information on accommodation, mountain railways, events, weather and other tourist services in the region.
engelbergmountainguide.ch is the website of Engelberg Mountain Guide and offers guided mountain sports activities.
In short: engelberg.ch provides information about the destination, engelbergmountainguide.ch arranges mountain guide bookings, and engelberg.guide connects my personal offering with local knowledge and a multi-provider mountain sports calendar.
