From the Engelberg Valley Hiking Guide
Steil is awesome!
The hiking trail starts right at the Eienwäldli camping site and is relentless from the very beginning.
The path is steep and has many steps and ladders leading up to the Horbisblick forestry and hunting lodge. Slippery in the wet! After the effort, it’s a leisurely walk through the Gerschniwald back to Engelberg.
A great tour if you don't have the time or fitness for something more substantial.
