In alpine splitboard tours, the whole journey counts: the ascent, the setup, a passage on foot, and the descent with luggage. This camp brings all these parts together. You plan, take on tasks, and receive feedback on your decisions. The group is focused on splitboarders.

HELLThe Titlis Round Tour and the area around the Sustlihütte provide potential applications for rope handling, climbing gear and route selection. The described passes are not promised destinations. Especially on glaciers and in couloirs, the route must fit the current conditions.
Program & Learning Objectives

Day 1 · Basics and open questions
In Engelberg, avalanche assessment, rope handling and riding techniques in steeper terrain are on the agenda. Overnight stay in the valley.
Day 2 · Alpine connection
Depending on the conditions, a tour from Titlis towards the Sustlihütte is possible. Switching between board, sledging and hiking is part of the coaching. A night in the hut is provided.
Day 3 · Application and return
From the hut, we choose a suitable crossing or summit tour. You deepen your route choice and tactics before heading down towards the valley.

The terrain and route are adapted to the weather, conditions, and group. The mentioned summits and descents are possible destinations.
Your requirements
Which level is suitable?
SPICYHOTHELLVery good descent technique, safe ascent technique, and fitness for about 1000–1300 meters of elevation gain are required. Entry level is for experienced SPICY participants; discuss your previous alpine tours in advance. A basic camp alone does not replace this experience.
Write me your last tours and your learning goal. This allows for a better assessment of your suitability than with a single level alone.

In front of the camp.
Check the harness, binding, and footwear in a timely manner. Personal safety equipment includes a life jacket, probe, and shovel; alpine camping requires the materials listed in the packing list. Check the compatibility of boots and crampons beforehand.

Is this a camp for skiing and snowboarding together?
This edition is specifically aimed at splitboarders. There are other Big Mountain variants for touring skis.
