What matters
Key points and planning
The short ascent does not automatically make the entire undertaking easier. The first descent, forested passages, and the long descent require suitable snow conditions. The route touches upon the area of the hunting reserve Bannalp–Walenstöcke; the current winter routes are binding.
Check the avalanche bulletin and weather forecast for the relevant elevations and aspects. Plan your timing around snow conditions, warming and lift operating hours. Existing tracks do not replace your own assessment.
Appropriate to the route and the conditions
