The flight area
Above Niederrickenbach lies the Musenalp with its open meadows and small hills. The starting point is oriented west to northwest and is about ten minutes from the mountain station.
The usual variant described in the guide leads to the shooting range between Dallenwil and Wolfenschiessen. Later in the afternoon, thermal opportunities are described in front of Musenalp and Musentürmen.

Arrival & Check-in
From Dallenwil by cable car to Niederrickenbach, then by Musenalpbahn to the plateau. Synchronize the current operating times of both lines.

The meadow slopes slightly downhill. The exact starting direction is chosen based on the cones and actual wind conditions on site.

Shooting Range Wolfenschiessen
The landing place is located on the main road at Schiessplatz between Dallenwil and Wolfenschiessen. It is listed in the guide as Wirzweli and Musenalp, among other places.

Requirements & Notes
- Clear the shooting area and local space restrictions in front of the runway before takeoff.
- West wind is the preferred direction mentioned in the guide; a general clearance for flight does not follow from this.
